To see the universe in a grain of sand or in the eye of a bird, is to see the layers of life simultaneously - body, mind, and spirit. My work captures those moments when we experience all these layers simultaneously. The viewpoints differ: some show the joyous spirit of the dancer, some the physical groundedness we share with the birds, and some the mental calm found in meditation.
Artwork is placed in sections by theme and by type of media so a particular piece may be in multiple galleries. Free shipping to addresses within the US.

I use the image of the dancer to show my joy at feeling connected to the universe and the life it contains. My dancers will usually be in vivid colors to represent this joy.

Most of my work deals with spiritual themes in one form or another. These pieces are the most overtly spiritual, using common spiritual imagery such as a meditating figure.

Birds are my grounding in the physical world. They live alongside us throughout the world and watching them enriches and calms me.

I use collages as a way of working out the preliminary design for larger pieces, and sometimes as a way to play with an idea.
